In support of our mission, we are seeking an experienced sales director to lead revenue efforts for our brand new product, Charter Pro, the premium news and insights membership for owners of the talent agenda. In this role, you will work closely with peers to take this new product to market. You’ll sell directly to influential, senior-level HR leaders, and bring your learnings back to the Charter organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves, and enjoys the challenge of bringing a new product to market. You will report into the COO.

What you’ll do
- Achieve revenue targets for the new Charter Pro product by signing senior HR leaders at large and mid-size companies.
- Own the entire sales process from outreach to close. Define Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and develop prospect database.
- Engage with new prospects and win deals by using a persuasive approach to communicate the value proposition.
- Define required steps in the sales process. Build and manage pipeline to create accurate revenue forecasts.
- Partner with our head of business operations on sales forecasting.
- Collect and use data about objections and blockers to determine how to refine and iterate sales process and value proposition.
- Use research and thought leadership to drive interest and consideration throughout the sales process.
- Help contribute to product development by bringing customer insights back to the leadership team.
